Australia v World XI, Super Series Test, Sydney, Day One
3 years ago, mid-OctoberWell, after the terrible performance the World XI put up in the one-dayers, can they do any better in the Test? I sincerely hope so; it’s only been a matter of weeks since England won the Ashes, and we cannot allow our antipodean friends to regain their air of cockiness so soon! Whatever happens, let’s hope it’ll be competitive and that there’ll be some exciting strokeplay. I’m also keen to see how Harmison does…
