Bit tied up at the moment and a lot of stuff going on which needs sorting out. Little time for blogging, therefore - sorry. Will try to get back to things on or around the first Test against Sri Lanka.

I’m too busy to blog, so apologies for lack of updates. Back to London on Tuesday, back to work on Wednesday but will try to get some template/posts for the second Test ready.

My turn for a hiatus- I will be away for a couple of weeks, however there will still be intermittent postings from me while I am away. However, I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays or just good luck if you live in a place which doesn’t do Christmas Holidays. And if I don’t see you before hand, Happy New Year and see you all in 2006.

Funny what a week away from cricket does. I’m back (hello) from my hiatus (not the hernia - what is a hiatus hernia…?), and was pleasantly surprised to see South Africa perform so strongly against Australia today. This could be a real cracker of a series in which to end the year, although I still fear for South Africa’s brittleness. Always enjoyable to hear G.Smith’s press conferences; no doubt there’ll be some gems in the next few weeks!
I’ll get back to blogging like the cricket-starved fool I am soon as…splendid.

Far, far too much going on at the moment to spend any time here I’m afraid. The next few weeks are going to be hectic beyond belief as I’m moving house (twice, in effect) so stick around - should have some excitingish news for you quite soon.
And as ever, if anyone here has a “spare” flat in London - preferably a nice one / two-bed place with a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and a loo seat which *hasn’t* cracked, with lights that *do* work and with floors which don’t have evidence of fresh rat’s shit on them - don’t hesitate to contact me. (I’m serious!)

Unlikely to have much time to post anything in the forthcoming days. In work at 4am for the forseeable, when we finally have some cricket to follow/watch/write about. I’ll have a post ready for you ‘orrible lot to talk amongst yourselves.
