    Trescothick first Ashes victim!

    The first casualty of The Ashes has been struck down some 3 and a half months prior to the first Test. Trescothick is suffering from migraines!

    “The next few weeks hopefully will explain why I’m suddenly getting something that hasn’t happened before.”

    Perhaps it’s Ashes fever, Marcus - a well-known condition, mainly restricted to northern europeans prior to a cricketing engagement against the Antipodians :)

    (I used to “suffer” from migraines myself in my teens - they’re awful. Completely disables your vision. Or as the yanks would say: “My vision has been compromised” - on top of a skull-cracking headache)
