Cricket: the golden age
2 years ago, mid-JuneI was given an unexpected and absolutely brilliant present from a friend tonight. A weighty tome (promise never to use that expression ever again) of cricket photos stretching back to 1859; cricket, photos, what could be better? Regular visitors down the Corridor will know of my fascination of quirky cricket photos, many of which can be seen from yesteryear. It’s an absolutely brilliant book and I’d urge you to buy it immediately if you have any interest in either cricket or photography. Cricket on the streets, cricket during the war, Geoff Boycott DJing…it has everything, few of which you’ll ever have seen.
Thanks, Nat. I’ll shout you a guinness soon as!
