“it’s not something you eat. It rents out your mouth and fills it.” Rowley Leigh, a chef, comments on Asda’s 2p sausages (which contain a non-bangery 34% of pork, 34% water and the rest? You decide).
Laughably, they’re being coined as the “credit crunch” sausages. Considering the crap they put in them, crunch is probably rather accurate when you find a rat’s toenail lurking in the fat.
