Does anyone actually care about this?

No, seriously. Anyone?

I don’t care as much as I do about the Australian team, but I’m pretty keen to see how NSW stacks up, and the matches should be entertaining enough.

Why would you care less about this than the IPL?

Um, I care, and I care much more about this than the IPL or even the champions trophy, most of which is the same old cricketers doing the same old thing.

For the semi-professional cricketers in Aust, SA and NZ this may be their only chance to compete on the global stage. Unlike England, international players are not a major part of the season in those places.

I am fascinated to see how T&T go against Otago Volts, for example. It is a great chance to see some different cricketers shine. It is also a chance to see players like Tresco outside England again.

I think the tournament has a real chance of establishing itself and with any luck acting as a bit of a counterweight to the IPL.

I’m mostly interested in it to see if Trescothick can make it or not.

Yea I care. A lot more than I cared about the Champions Trophy, and actually more than I care about any ODIs, including the World Cup.

I am going to try to watch every game. Rooting for one of the English teams.

Nothing compares to Tests, but I much rather like this and IPL and other club level T20 than any limited overs (especially ODIs) played at the international level.

After this series, India and Australia will play a horrendous seven game borefest for no prize and no goal. No thanks.

Bring on the Champions League – I can’t wait for the death of the international limited overs game.
