Great stuff.
Swann: media future beckons

He may not have had much luck with the ball today, but Graeme Swann is one of the most entertaining interviewees in decades. The media training he doubtless received has been tossed out of the window – thank GOD – and he makes such a refreshing change from the anodyne bullshit most sportsmen produce today.

Most of it is light hearted and immense fun – but the KP stuff is fabulously barbed

Swann is indeed the best of a rotten bunch at interview, though he may find it harder to amuse at 2, 3, and 4 nil down. He needs to be careful not to be accused of trying to be the new Tuffers, unless that is exactly what he is trying to do with a second career to think about already.
