Mumbai terror strikes

By Will 2 years ago, at the end of November Add your comment below

Mumbai is under attack from terrorists.

A series of terrorist strikes in Mumbai on Wednesday night which left 80 dead and 250 injured has put a major question mark over the fate of the Champions Twenty20 League, scheduled to begin here next week, and cast a serious doubt over the second Test between India and England next month.

More (cricket angle) at Cricinfo, or the BBC, or IBN or NDTV. It’s a depressing mess out there. My former colleague, Alex Chamberlain, is unfortunately one of those involved. You can read his account of events at the BBC.

what does the intelligence bureau of home ministry doing. is it functioning or not. if the operation is very well planned and executed as told by our honourable prime minister, then why coulldnt it be known by the intelligence bureau.i think the home minister we have now is the worst home minister of india ever. he is not functioning to prevent any terror attacks rather than visiting those places after the things get over. we should improvise our knowledge and techs that is being used in this and we should coordinate all those intelligence informations with anti teror security forces.our good prime minister has selected a worst home minister who doesnt have any knowledge of country’s internal security. because of that we have lost a very good police officers of maharashtra who has been doing very good work against any kind of terrorists. at this point of time we people should stand united to fight against the terrorists irrespective of racesand religion.

Why did you play your Ashes after the London bombings??This can happen anywhere. It sets a bad precedent if teams start doing this.I hope it doesn’t happen, but if a similiar situation takes place in the UK(inevitable, sadly) India will go home too.India is no Pakistan.
My dad stays in the Taj palace every time he goes to Mumbai. He’s supposed to go day after tomorrow. He’s going.
