    Apparently I’ve been fooling around with Cheryl Cole. Chance’d be a fine thing. No, it wasn’t me, but thank you to the seven people who have emailed (two of whom, I’m proud to say, actually thought it was me, though I’m about as non-black-looking as is humanly possible. In the words of Billy Connolly, I am not white: I’m pale blue).
