I think those speed guns are a load of crap. Somehow the white ball goes faster - I bowled 83-84mph in the Test match, and 93mph in the one-dayers. It's crazy. I hadn't bowled a ball for ten days.

Dermot Reeve?

Rather odd thing is happening here: an absolute flood of people are coming here in the past 20 minutes looking for info on Dermot Reeve and his previous mishaps with cocaine. I’ve not heard anything on the wires - anyone know if something’s happened?

I thought I saw him with Chris Adams and Ashish Ray the other day on the Sky Sports team covering the current Commonwealth Bank series. But then, I could be mistaken.

I thought it was Reeve who had taken Ian Ward’s usual position in that team.
