England v West Indies, 3rd Test, Old Trafford, 5th day

By Emma last year, mid-June Leave a comment on this post

A much improved West Indian performance and suddenly it’s 154 runs or 5 wickets. However, with the last 4 of those real tailenders, Ramdin and Chanderpaul really need to dig in to secure any hope of keeping the series alive until Durham.

Wow!! I didn’t expect it to go that long, then I didn’t expect it to be over that quick . . .

I think its great to have an interesting match in the end, with some good signs from two teams who are playing at a similar level. Who cares if it’s not brilliant - they’re playing at this level, so let’s enjoy the contest. Good stuff Vaughany - England’s most sucessful Test Captain ever, if I am reading it right!

and the most tired and emotional Test captain in the world last night, according to the pics in this Tuesday’s Daily Mail! Can you blame him?
