Strange but true, Harmy seems to be on form this morning. What did he have for his dinner last night, humble pie?
England v West Indies, 3rd Test, Old Trafford, 4th day

Yesterday might have been Darren Sammy’s day, but you can’t help but feel that England’s present lead is unassailable. Will Monty Panesar take his turn, or will today break the record for most extras ’scored’ in a match? Follow the action on Cricinfo and leave your comments below.

Where are you, Wraye? In Blighty now? Have you heard from the ex?
Nice to see Hoggard warming up before. Wonder how he’s enjoying being a dad to little Ernie (and he drove the fastest milk cart in the West!)

The whole UK trip was blown out of the water, Kathy. Stayed in Hunland and enjoyed some really fine club cricket - rather better than this Test it seems. Ex called me yesterday from Old Trafford, the b******, to say sorry. Charmed I’m sure. Still, would have liked to see Monty again if nothing else. Sigh.

Sorry for no post yesterday guys - had a 3 hr exam in the morning. Missed some good batting I gather! Of course, I’m ‘revising’ right now, so not at all enjoying the sounds of better cricket…

Monty gets a breakthrough. Hurrah! I was beginning to wonder if anything was going to happen this afternoon. My greatest other concern was eating chop suey with chopsticks. It has peas in it - how can I eat peas with chopsticks?
Did your exam go well, Emma?

Meh, ok. Not wonderful but what’s new. And peas aren’t the worst with chopsticks - massive pieces of meat are worse. In cricket news, with the 2nd highest scoring of extras, Bill sounds positively bouncy!
