    It’s only displayed on the big Cricketing nations’ google pages though. Even the affilate countries (like google.ca) just get the normal image. And that’s a real shame.

    I agree. Within seconds of seeing this logo I went to google.com with excitement. And I have been let down.

    It’d be interesting to know the decision behind which countries receive certain logos etc. Hopefully speaking to their press dept. tomorrow

    So much for adverising! I saw it when I opened Google the other day and it didn’t twig at all, that I was looking at a cricket World Cup version of their logo. I have some vague recollection of thinking it was baseball. Just don’t associate Google with cricket or don’t pay much attention to advertising?
