Video of Shane Bond’s caught and bowled

By Will last year, at the end of February Leave a comment on this post

An unbelievable catch by Shane Bond in his follow-through. He is a bit special.

See here if you can’t view it above.

Yes, he’s ours and you can’t have him.

Though I don’t know who has the dodgiest fitness — Bond, Vaughan or Jonny Wilkinson. I know whose fitness bothers me the most though, and it aint Bond’s.

Bond must surely be the six-million dollar bowler with more titanium than bone in his vertebral column. Still that was a very fine catch.

Kathy, I don’t want to start a fight, national pride and all that, but I do think that England and Pakistan are still world champs on the dodgy fitness scene.

To think he’s only played 20 odd tests, 30 years old, and is probably in the top 3 pace bowlers in the world when fit.

    Shame really.

    Hi there
Have just stumbled upon this site after a frustrating time with free to air broadcasts of the Ashes. I am an Aussie in Sweden trying to stream free of charge but a slave to the rights laws and computer IP address’. Will give All India Radio a whirl, sounds fun. Any tips on free TV would be appreciated.

Bond’s a gift to NZ cricket and it’s a pity he got off the blocks so late, in terms of games played. He’s already in his 30’s now and one must hope he stays injury-free to do a McGrath. A fast bowler’s life is usually short. Guess what, if he were Brit or Irish, they’d cast him as the new James Bond. Isn’t he better looking than Daniel Craig? No offence to M & Co.
