Kathmandu cricket

By Will last year, mid-January Leave a comment on this post

Terrific shot here of cricket being played in the Kathmandu valley, Nepal.

Nepal have a thriving interest in cricket and are worth keeping an eye on. Me and Martin Williamson try to cover them in Beyond the Test World although news from Nepal has been pretty thin on the ground in recent weeks. Keep an eye on our blog at Cricinfo.

Just shows how much cricket is a global game. It can be played anywhere anytime with a minimum of gear. As long as you’ve got a bat, a ball and a wicket you’ll be set.
