  • I think those speed guns are a load of crap. Somehow the white ball goes faster - I bowled 83-84mph in the Test match, and 93mph in the one-dayers. It's crazy. I hadn't bowled a ball for ten days.

    I was in Trinidad recently and I found it to be a fascinating mix of 3rd World Shamble and modern luxury. Outside of Port-Of-Spain it was beautiful.

    The locals seemed to mix cricket and soccer roughly equally. Perhaps leaning slightly on cricket.

    Yes Will, but that’s not the beach. That’s the Beausejour Stadium in St Lucia, venue for England’s first game against New Zealand.
