England’s leaked bowling plans

UPDATE: thief exposed in video shocker

Aside from England’s noses being ground into the dirt like a pumice stone, the big(ish) news from yesterday was the leaked England bowling plans.

(Via Sydney Morning Herald)

A slight storm in a tea-cup; the plans themselves are hardly revolutionary, and Australia’s batsmen have prospered so far without seeing the plans. It is the theft which will worry and depress England, but it does raise a wonderful who’dunnit. Maybe a particularly pissed off member of the England side let it slip to spite, well, someone. Or not.

Will, I’ve actually obtained exclusive security footage of the theft of the notes from the England dressing rooms. The culprit was, as you correctly assumed, one of the members of the England squad …

    Hi Will

Am rapidly putting together some plans for the England bowlers as they obviously lost the plot yesterday afternoon.

    Here’s the first two.

    Plan A

Aim at the three wooden things sticking out of the ground

    Plan B

If the batsman misses and it hits his pad, try and make sure you’re not bowling from Rudi’s end.

    :)

    Plan C

Sling in the odd leg stump yorker to the new batsman

“….They think it’s all over !”Is a saying of one of Englands’soccer T.V.commentators.
Well all I can say is thank goodness it is all over!

The one bright thing that has come out of the day was Reads’ unbeaten stand with the bat (After a very shaky start.)And his superb Wicket keeping;that helped to remove most of the Aussies wickets.
Sorry Geraint back to Wales….let’s hope you can find a place in a choir somewhere…..As for the rest of the British timorous wee beasties ,please sell your kit..Go to U.S.A. and inflict yourselves on Baseball and let some one else try to play cricket next time.
To all the 400 or so of the subscribers and readers of this BLOG…G’Day…see you at the next ‘Test ??’

Would have been priceless if the sledging script for each batsman had been included on that sheet.
