The third day from Melbourne, and possibly the last. It’s all gone horribly Percy Sonn for England. But who knows? Two spectacular double hundreds from Flintoff and Pietersen, 600 runs in a day to give England a lead of 300ish. It could happen…but only if England have a peek at John Buchanan’s bowling plans…

Okay, so I lied. I’m still here. Gonna regret this in the morning. When McGrath was out, once again he said the ultimate stupid thing, “didn’t bother the scorers”. Humpff!! Try scoring, dumbhead! Baa humbug.

Poor old Flintoff!
Speaking through gritted teeth at the presentation – making the required noises about regrouping for Sydney, about not wanting to be beaten 5-0.
I thought it would be tough for England to retain the Ashes on Australian pitches – but not this hard!
Gee, it’s great.
