“Monty Panesar - what’s that? Is it a restaurant, or a place?”

So said a girl to me tonight. After stitching my sides back in place, I realised what a great name for a restaurant it’d be!

    I remember in one of Alan Coren’s columns some years ago, he made a reference to a place in Devon being between the sleepy villages of Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh.

    Yesterday I was walking down Oxford Street wearing a Monty Panesar t-shirt. A woman holding a clipboard and wearing a jacket with a charity logo stopped me, said “Nice t-shirt,” and let me walk on. Just thought I’d add that.
