you should have another separate poll which is in view of the recent revelations..
it seems that people who like hair continue to support him no matter what..and the people who don’t like him due to his past are against him with or without this revelation. I am not in favor of him umpiring and i didn’t need this revelation to convince me.. i had all along suspected the commercial angle.. i thought he would have the patience to get money from other avenues such as book deals.. but he opted for a more direct route… his supporters are saying he wanted to give an ICC a way out.. OHHH what a saint he is.. he wasn’t ready to budge one millimeter to go ahead with the game when everybody else was ready to do so.. BUT he was ready to take a pay off with the ICC giving him money clandestinely.. highly illegal and also to give whatever reason they wanted to give for his retiring also something not truthful.. i praise the ICC for revealing this.. they would have been in serious hot water for keeping this a secret.. hair also “revoked” this email AFTER he got an email from speed saying his email was entirely inappropriate.. so he does go back on his word only when it is convenient for him.. not when so much is at stake as it was during the test match..

In my opinion, the results may be highly in favour of Hair as you did not put the third option “ICC should fire Hair”. I did not vote as this option was not on the poll. I think I am not alone in wanting this option in your poll.

I am totally against pakistan and the other sub continent teams saying who can and cannot umpire there matches. Darrel hair obvisouly saw something that he didnt think that was in the spirit of the game. Pakistan have always and in my mind be in the centre of farce and controversy! so why should an honest man and a very good umpirelike Hair be booted off the elite panel? i havent got a clue!i believe that pakistan should be banned from test and one day cricket for 2 years to be taught a lesson! and in that time maybe they can be taught not to take drugs like Shiob Aktar as just found out! then if they have learnt there lesson after the suspensin, then they can be allowed to come back! i am disguted that Hair has be singled out! The icc most have enough balls bewtween them to stand up aigainst the pakistanis who think they can rule the cricket world!!!!
