Steve Harmison feels strongly about suggestions that he came out of one-day retirement in order to play the Stanford Twenty20 for 20

Who can do me a favour and work out what Yousuf Youhana’s Test average was, and what it is since he swapped religions and became Mohammad Yousuf? I’d check myself but thought you’d enjoy the challenge.

Until news of his conversion to Christianity was made public around 10 months ago, he averaged 47.46 (59 tests). After that, he’s averaged 83.38 (8 tests). So for all the chat about the effect of his religion on his batting, it’s still a very small sample size :)

“Until news of his conversion to Christianity was made public…”

Shouldn’t that be conversion to Islam? Mohammad seems an odd name for a Christian to take… ;-)

Well all I can say is that its not other people talk about him that changing religion bring effect in his life……its he who has said in the public in the final test so I think he must have felt changes which don’t required any sample data to prove himself…..
    Any how Mohammad Yousaf rocks!!
