I was there, on the same patch of river bed behind the Taj in January, and played two magnificent sweeps to the backward square leg boundary before being clean bowled by a 12 year old. Great spot for the noble game.

I can’t seem to add a pic to this post that I took whilst fielding in a game in Rajastan. An hasty impression of Inzamam running between the wickets was enough to get me invited to play for the village, and we won by three wickets. It felt a long way from Warwickshire, but tremendous fun.

    Wonderful country.

How about a thread for any photos of us having been invited to play cricket in unusual or remote places ?

    Cheers,

I see the photographer felt the need to highlight the ball again, thank God. If only s/he had also explained its purpose in the game like that other one a while back.
