India’s making heavy wind of a small target.

I expected 1st and 2nd ODI to be close. Either close wins or close loses. 1st fell into India’s favour and 2nd seems to be leaning toward Windies.

Would you look at that - an exciting and tense ODI that didnt involve both sides scoring 400 runs. Who’d have thought!

Altho India won the 1st and Windies the 2nd, both were close ‘down to the wire’ matches, which could have gone either way right up to the last ball.

India have not asserted themselves to the level they have done in the past, but the Windies are now finding that winning can be addictive and they are looking more of a team than a bunch of players wearing the same uniform. Lara’s doing more than a decent job so far and the team seem to be responding to his leadership.

The vagaries of cricket: even a low scoring match can generate such excitement. Cricket’s the winner, surely!

What an amazing final over. Yuvraj Singh played his heart out and to fall short by oh so little. Well bowled Dwayne Bravo, takes guts to go the slower ball at such an important moment of the game
