It’s around the coast towards Plymouth from Salcombe, if it’s the same Bantham that I walked through a few years back.

I know this area pretty well now - South Devon - but can’t think where Bantham is. Might be just over the water from Salcombe…nice shot, though.

I used to play cricket on that beach every summer. It’s South Devon, near Kingsbridge, just up the coast from what was my Grandparents’ house in Thurlestone. There’s a distinctive naturally formed rock arch just off the coast that you can climb out to, and the sands are fantastic.
The old house is a holiday cottage/mansion now, after changing hands a few times. You too can play on the cricket pitch of my youth!

The slope puts Lord’s to shame, but the view’s to die for.
