If you want to scout around to se where you’ll be sitting when you go watch the Ashes (even if it’s just in your dreams), I’ve posted links to Google maps satellite photos of a bunch of cricket grounds, including 5 in Australia: http://tinyurl.com/oggoq
PLEASE NOTE The Corridor is moving grounds at the moment. This is the old site, and comments have been disabled. Check back tomorrow and we should be safely ensconced at our new home

Great stuff, Alan. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any satellite photos of my favourite ground (Canterbury). Do you know if they’re available on Google Maps? I couldn’t find them.

Canterbury looks a quite blurry to me on Google maps. I’m not quite sure why some cities have much better satellite photos available than others on Google. It could be for a legal reason, or it could be economics, or maybe they just didn’t get around to some places yet.

Are we talking Canterbury England or NZ? if it is the former I’m going there (with Will) on Wednesday and can take pix.
If not can you buy me a ticket to NZ and I’ll do the same

I was referring to Canterbury, England. Any pics would be welcome, esp. in high quality so that I can use them as wallpaper on my pc.

Oh dear. In mitigation I would refer to the bottle of Chilean Cab Sauv I appear to have destroyed this evening.
