Zimbabwe 5 for 126 in the 42nd over. Rather a dull exercise, although West Indies fans will be delighted to once again see their team treat someone else very badly.

West Indies v Zimbabwe, 1st ODI

Another day, another one-day tournament, this time between two troubled nations. West Indies ought to sweep Zimbabwe aside, but there’s still the possibility of an upset. As Betfair note, though, it’s rather unlikely.

According to the livestats feature, only 3 of the Zimbabwe players have played more then 11 ODI games. None in the team have a ODI century or a 5 wicket haul.

er, sorry to be some sort of party pooper here, but if I recall correctly, it took New Zealand a certain amount of time to get their first Test wins and a bit of respect. WI are struggling and Zim have yet to make their mark.
Now NZ are giving SA a thumping. (:))
Let’s just see how things go …
