Good to see deVilliers in the runs, shame he couldn’t make it to 100.
I haven’t done it for a while but Betfair used to be brilliant for covering all bases on test matches. Basically you back and lay the win lose and draw over the first couple of days and the price fluctuations throughout the time. For example when NZ were 74-5 they would have been a lot longer than 2.24 so you would have backed them at that point and laid off at 2.24 (say) and take the difference.
If you watch in play, you’ll probably see that the prices fluctuate wildly at the fall of a wicket, and that is the time to place your bet, before the market settles back down.
I did manage to clean up on the Sydney test on the last Eng tour of Aus this way.
Having said that I’ve not had a bet on Betfair for approximately 2 years so accept the in play cricket markets might have settled down in recent months.
