    Thank God that’s all over then. What a crock of proverbial England are.

    And that concludes the winter, too. Roll on spring which, on the evidence of today, still refuses to show its face!

    Gardening and cooking, with a little bit of shopping thrown in. Our first game’s not til 30th April and the league matches don’t start until nearly June.

    Sadly the new job means that I won’t be playing nearly as much as I did last year so I’ll have to find another way to lose the stone I’ve put on in the closed season.

    Thanks, Sean. It is my highest total to date, caught & bowled by a 15-year old, damn damn. Today was supposed to be the official start of our season and it is raining out there, so we have a relaxed Easter Sunday here.
