Okay, so the pitch is probably flatter than an ironing board, but nevertheless much kudos to the Bangladesh boys who are 206 for 1 against Australia! Briefly…

Shane Warne has gone for 72 from 9 overs
Shahriar Nafees has made a hundred
Jason Gillespie has taken the only wicket to fall so far

I’m not smiling or chuckling…

Okay - this is great for cricket, but…enough already. I have this whole de ja vu feeling. There is a swell of energy coming from the rest of the cricketing world, willing the Bangis on with every sweep and run down to third man. C’mon Warnie, get us out of trouble again…

I guess Ponting must have had a premonition about this scoreline, since he came out in favour of Bangladesh being awarded Test status and allowing it to keep the Test status.

This would be worth watching just to see how the Oz bowlers handled being despatch by the minnows of minnows!!
