Interesting odds from William Hill for this winter’s Ashes series. I’ll update this once a month or so.

Draw looks good - won’t be betting with William Hill though.

I was surprised to see Australia were 1.75 about 3 months ago, and as a result I built up a huge position on Aussies to win at odds between 1.7 and 1.75

On bet365.com, my lumping on Aus caused them to lower the odds to 1.66 (now 1.57)

btw, I still think its great value.

betfair will be interesting for this series now it’s officially opened up to Australian bets.

I expect the odds available on England to considerably reduce nearer the time if they win their two summer test series, or even if they don’t, as there’ll be a few ‘patriotic pounds’ wagered in the UK (especially by people who wouldn’t have bet on the last series)

Ashes are important to the OZ and I am sure they will use the pre-ashes series to work out their Ashes Team, much like the world’s ODI teams are using their current ODI matches to fill in the slots for WC2007.

    Good value, at this time.

I found an original set of autographs of 1928 Australian cricketers on a tour of N Z, with some legendary names on it , and made a slideshow of it. -I think pretty good. You can check it out at: http://kaikohe-kia-ora.blogspot.com/. Appreciate your thoughts on it. Regards.
