No, I don’t think I know of Tom and Shirley Davies, unless they’re part of the mad Welsh wing of my family which I try to steer clear of.

Ah fair enough. No, to my knowledge MCC aren’t quite there yet! But regardless, it’s very good of them to issue us with a pass and thanks MCC very much…

@ Will: Congratulations. Will have to keep an out of you and your Pimms next time I watch live cricket at Lords;!! 
@ Zainub: That’s probably a rugby shirt collar, Zainub. In case not, I am sure whatever was in the sling is better now. (Not the Sachin type of Tennis elbow, I hope!)
@ Rekha: Beg, borrow or steal..a cricket match at Lords’ – atleast one – has to be a must. Hope you can do that soon.

My best mate lives in London and he has tickets to the Lords Test.
Well, he did, until his cleaning lady threw them out this week.
If you see a cleaning lady nailed to a crucifix on Friday somewhere in London, it means he found her.
