Can’t believe I’ve been missing this. It sounds like there was quite an interesting exchange of words…

Not such a beauty for the Saffers. Problem is I can’t watch these games and be neutral anymore. I’ve been here for too long I think. SA had bloody well better beat NZ, or I’m not going to be happy.

    A few interesting notes:

1). Ricky Ponting got more then 200 more Runs durring his 100th test than Justin Langer did!

2). Stuart Clark picks up man of the series in his first ever series in the National Team!

3). Brett Lee had and outstanding 3rd test. 6 wickets (3 in each innings) and 88 runs which included a not-out in the second dig!

4). And as i knew all a long. JL was always going to bat if needed!

Will - you’ve made it mate. I was sleeping with the radio on, it was about 11pm, and I think it was when Gilly got out. I heard the call for his dismissal, although I had completely missed that of Symonds’ dismissal, and the commentator then said something along the lines of, “Welcome to the corridor of uncertainty.”

Sent a tingle up my spine. Did you catch the comment?

Ha, I didn’t Hammy. But you know where the phrase comes from don’t you? It’s a Boycottism - I can’t claim its origin unfortunately!

Which reminds me; weren’t you going to change the name at one point? I seem to remember voting…

I didn’t know that Will. Who would have thought that anything Geoffrey Boycott said would become popularised? Now when I visit your site I’m going to need a Geordie accent running through my head. Boycott is a Geordie isn’t he - oh, Wikipedia says he was born in Yorkshire. I’ll change the accent slightly.
