Freddie wins toss on the turntable wicket of Delhi – a typically old fashioned (as described by Alec Stewart) Indian wicket, hence the FOUR spinners, India go in with.

India is known for its chasing capabilities. Different for England now that they have to set a target. It will need to be around the 270-280 mark, with just seamers to support. Having said that India have not done well v. pace, but will the turntable help the seamers??

    Game on!

*sigh*…note to self: remember to bring radio next time you leave the UK when the cricket’s on. I’m reduced to watching the ball-by-ball updates on cricinfo. Not that there’s anything wrong with the updates in themselves, but obsessively watching the computer while trying to resist the temptation to refresh every 2.34 seconds has lead to some snide comments from the boyfriend.

270, JR? Dream on, India are making us work for this. We need to bowl them out for 203 again!

Jess, try the Times – they refresh quicker than cricinfo ;)

So, India making merry of the so-called seam attack of England. The Delhi duo coming to party here….Looks like an easy one for India, unless the batters try a little too much….and make a challenge for themselves. India is used to doing that…

What on earth were England doing playing _four_ seamers? Borrowing Hoggard’s line, answers on a postcard please.

    Excuse the blatant plug, Will.

Just thought I’d share Sreesanth’s deft dancing skills…:)
