and Pakistan get a well-earned win. What a game! Zany especially is going to go bonkers - wonder how she’s doing with her revision now ![]()
Pakistan devastate India U-19s

India are 9 for 6 chasing 110. Never seen anything like it; Pakistan’s seamers are boomeranging it all over the place! Quite incredible.
Update: somewhat of a recovery, 37 for 7
Update: oh dear, all over, all out for 71! What a shambles; well done Pakistan. Hugely exciting final

… er … before I agree, does that have anything to do with half-naked cheerleaders?

Will, did you manage to catch some live action of this one? I’ve never see anyone move the ball that much as Anwar Ali Khan did for Pakistan. Atleast a few deliveries moved from almsot a foot and a half outside off!

Will, it was indeed a stunning game. Piyush Chawla, the young Indian leggie, is one to watch out for though. He played for India B in the Challenger trophy against India Seniors and had his crowning moment then. Aged 16, this guy, bowling his first ball to Sachin (I think it was the first ball), got through his gates with a perfectly delivered googly… dream stuff.
However, being Nepalese myself, I’m savouring Nepal’s Plate championship win more than anything else. Nepal is a team to watchout for, they pulled through two major upsets, beating South Africa in the semis and then NZL in the finals within 48 hours.. great stuff!

Hi Worma, yes I did. It was extraordinary. From the second over, he was moving it like a banana. Wonderful to watch

Budha,
I’ll certainly watch out for Nepal, so long as some one can get me television coverage of the future under 19 world cups!
I’m out raged that there was no coverage locally in Pakistan yet people all the way up in NZ and the Americas did!
I should have seen this lad, Ali shali, moving the ball like a banana and such and such, I, for once, should never have missed this. Very, very wrong. Ten Sports should have got this covered. It wouldn’t have fitted in my revision schedules, but he was moving it like a banana, so you can always take out time for such oddities.
Will/ 3B,
Never knew you guys/girls were fascinated by Urdu! Bara maza aaiga now. Bada maza.

hey guys man what a match it was i was able to watch the match in full zainub through internet from sky sports link trust me u missed some crazy exciting bowling from anwar ali he just murdered the indian batting line up man i was almost came close to faint when indian 6th wicket fall in 3.2 overs all the crowd was just came in to tears with happiness and with saddness for india and play was called of for 30 mins break becoz of all the wickets floating and i would certainly hope these too anwar ali and jamshed ahmed get a place in senior Pakistani team in early future hope they both play in the world cup 2007 and with our fast bowling attack led by shoaib, asif, rana, umargul, anwar ali and jamshed ahmed will be just a demolishing force for ny opponent inshallah and my dream is that Pakistan wins the 2007 world cup trophy beating australia or india in the final that would be something!!!!
