Under-19 World Cup

By Will 2 years ago, at the start of February Leave a comment on this post

The Under-19 World Cup was officially opened today. My colleage, Andrew McGlashan, is out there covering it for Cricinfo. Should be interesting to see not only the smaller countries - Nepal, Nambia, Uganda, Scotland and co. - perform, but also which players break through to their senior teams. Tour index is here at Cricinfo, or read the blog and tour diary here.

Thanks for the link to the blog Will, I love tour diaries. Pakistan have send in a strong team I read elsewhere, so I expect us to do well. We won last time when it happened in Bangladesh, and that tournament had plenty of surprises, so I’m not ruling out any of the minnows this time around either, especially Bangladesh, whose under 19 team I’ve heard are great shakes.
