  • I think those speed guns are a load of crap. Somehow the white ball goes faster - I bowled 83-84mph in the Test match, and 93mph in the one-dayers. It's crazy. I hadn't bowled a ball for ten days.

    Shahid Afridi’s hundred v India

By Will 2 years ago, mid-January Leave a comment on this post

Just seen this on ceefax. Pakistan have declared on 679 for 7 with Afridi, 103, hitting 27 from one over. Freak!

The scorecard is simply devastating. If India can make any kind of response this will be one hell of a match! Akmal continues to look like superb player - he beat Gilchrist’s record for fastest century by a wicketkeeper.

Makes me feel better about England’s performance in Pakistan!

    Only just, though!

Makes you feel better about England’s peformance? How come? Read the whole scorecard, India replied with 60 odd for no loss in just 11 overs, at five an over.

This looks like a draw in the making. Looks like Pak will have to take 20 Indian wickets on a batsman-friendly pitch in probably just 2 days in order to get a result.

    afridi is brilliant to watch..
he hit four consecutive sixes and later said that he was trying his best to go for six sixes..
only he could do something like that.. i doubt an aussie player would event attempt something like that because he would look silly getting out trying that in a test match..
afridi seems to have no fear..

Your best version of cricket, one day cricket series is almost ready against England. Hope to see a great score from you…Inshallah

Try to remain on the crease for a longer time and you will see a great change in your game. Almost every bowler would be afraid of you then coz if you start playing big innings the scores in every match would be near 400…
