Predictable, but fun. What did you get for Christmas? I don’t tend to get a lot of cricket stuff these days - but did get A Century of Cricket Jokes which is a lot of laughs. I’ll stick some up here when I get back to London.

As posted on the limericks post, my ex promised me the Ashes DVD and did not deliver. Instead, I got the Ashes calender. Some chocolates. A book of short stories.

Sigh. Oh well.

Help. Actually, I am wondering what I have done wrong to miss out on the Ashes DVD.

Boyfriend promised me he recorded everything from Sky in the UK. Forgot to bring it to the Continent in October and November visit and now Xmas too. According to him, the DVDs are lying - forgotten - on his front room table, 1500km away.

Who else thinks that I am being seriously misled here? Do I bash him or poison his beer? Answers please!

P.S. he also drank almost a comlete bottle of Rothschlid 95 Bordeaux, saying “Nice bit of red, this” as I was cooking.
