    Over fond of Aggers?

By Will 3 years ago, mid-November Leave a comment on this post

This person is. Or, to use their own words:

I woke up and fell asleep to the cricket. I think I am becoming sexually obsessed with over-fond of Aggers. He’s such a dear.

    Oh dear.

Hey, we could start up an Aggers appreciation thread. Maybe that one would get 2000+ comments too…

Or maybe not. Aggers is sweet though.

    (Isn’t it passed your bedtime?)

Glerk, I mean ‘past’, of course.

Rather tragically, I’m trying to stay awake as long as possible. Another hour and I’ll attempt a beer, which will probably do the trick!

Just one oh dear! This is a kind of comment for which even one hundred oh dears wouldn’t quite be enough!

And I thought I was barking mad when I said Bumble’s nose was cute as was his accent! Now I can be rest assured by fondness for certain commentators isn’t the bizarrest of all fans in the world.

I’m quite partial to a bit of Aggers and Henry Blofeld on the radio. It’s amazing how much they can commentate on and they even talk a bit about the cricket. My favourite commentator is Peter Roebuck however. He’s almost an honourary Aussie he’s been here that long. How Roebuck hasn’t been given the England Managers position based on his depth of knowledge I don’t know. The only Australian commentator worth listening to is Terry Alderman.

Wouldn’t go so far as to say there is any sexual obsession though.

All the TMS gents are “dear old things”: Aggers gets my thums-up for mentioning Leicstershire so often - my old home. Is it just me, or are we a bit low on laughs this tour, without Blowers and Bearders?
