    Shiny Mark is back

    Post 1001, and it’s back to business as it appears that Mark “Shiny” Nicholas is back on Channel 9. His contract wasn’t renewed a month ago - but Dave mentioned it yesterday, and the plucky people at ABC are gratuitously back-patting themselves. And why not!? Is Mark gaining a cult following I wonder…?

    I read somewhere that it was at the personal request of Kerry Packer that Nicholas was reinstated.

    He obviously knows how to influence the right people! MAMMA MIA!

    Always quite liked Mark, despite the perma-tan.

    On an unrelated note, The Sun - that ever-accurate and unbiased news source - have reported that the England players are having a moustache contest. I think cricinfo should get their man in ’stan on the case with a camera. I’ve had a bad week and could do with something to give me a good chuckle…
