New design for the blog

To celebrate the blog’s first birthday in a week’s time, I’d like to re-design the blog. I’m bored with it, and want a really cool, snazzy, chic, modern design and a proper logo. None of the defacto wordpress themes are appropriate – I want it to be a bit unique. So if anyone here is a design-God, a photoshop-wizard and/or has the time and inclination to hack a design together, get in touch by leaving a comment. In return I’ll heavily link back to your work/blog/website on all pages, or we can work out something.

Something which says “Yeah – this is a blog,” but which doesn’t say “It’s ANOTHER blog,” if you see what I mean. I want something really clean and modern – and one which uses more “page real estate,” and not cramped in the middle…
