My interview with Mark Ramprakash

My first ever interview, with Mark Ramprakash, can be read here. He was very helpful, very interesting and I hope you find it enjoyable…it’s tricky to get people to elaborate, not least those in the media glare, but Ramps answered all my questions with due thought.

I woudn’t have read that if I wasn’t coming at the blog, so thanks for the link, I enjoyed the bits where he talked about golf. Good interview over all.

Not sure Mark will be terribly happy at you advertising his book as being Â£11.89 when the recommended price, and the one that Surrey are selling it for, is Â£16.99.

Having said that, I too visited Amazon and snapped up my pre-ordered copy for Â£11.89. Just need them to actually deliver it now.

I have interviewed Mark a couple of times, once as I was building a portfolio before I became an official cricket journalist, and he is definitely one of the easiest people to talk to.
I agree entirely that it is often difficult to get people to expand on their answers, but Mark clearly realises that and is ever willing to talk, and make good observations.
