I’ve been sent an invitation for Wordpress.com and have one spare to give away. Not sure why I’ve been invited, but there you go! Wordpress.com is still closed to the general public, so this is your golden opportunity to get on there…
Using all your imagination, humour and inventiveness (I don’t care if that’s not a proper word - it’s Sunday, the day of word-rest), leave a comment with why you are worthy of the invite and why you want it. What would you use it for & why? etc
NB: monetary bribes are accepted and encouraged.

I’m desperately looking for a professional blogging site to settle for a while, and I hope wp.com will do. About content - I usually have a lot of pimps that bothers me in the world and I some words are popping out to comment them. Click my name for more info pls. Hope that works better!

I’m a recently graduated web design student and need to put up a portfolio/blog to help me find some work. Of course with this vlog I would also endevour to end all wars and pick up the ladies.

I do solemnly swear that if I was the successful recipient of the invite I would;
(1) Flog myself relentlessly for having just spent a wedge of cash registering a domain that nobody visits due to a completely inflated sense of my own self-importance.
(2) Maximise the painfulness of the flogging by using the extensively splintered edges of my 15 year old Gray Nicholls Dynadrive.
(3) Post pictures of said flogging on newly acquired free WordPress.com domain.
(4) Promise to call the new site http://www.flogged-blogger.com
(5) Update the site regularly with fresh flogging pics for every time I write a completely biased cricket post whilst claiming neutrality.

I would like to declare my interest in the Wordpress invite. It would revitalise my aesthetically challenged, technically third rate blog. At the moment I feel like Bangladesh. Lots of promise and enthusiasm, but constantly trounced by the big boys of cricket html in the hit rate world rankings. World press would give me a solid, user friendly template to open the batting with its superior SQL forming an unbeatable middle order. World class content would be delivered by the bowling attack (me). Gone would be the day of being stumped by Blogspots long hops and gogglies.
