This blog is mashed-up, I know…I don’t know why, nor when it’ll be fixed. If it’s slow for you, can you kindly leave a comment and let me know how long it took to load a page (or if it’s absolutely fine, etc)

I’ve been experiencing really slow load times for the last couple of weeks. In average 10 seconds to load the comments page and 30 seconds for a comment to load.. And I’m on a 24MBit connection so that’s really strange.

I haven’t noticed problems, but then I’m 8 time zones away from London, so I’m probably here in off-peak hours (especially now that I’m no longer getting up early to follow live coverage of Ashes).

Alan: re the time-zones. What time will it be for you when England tour Pakistan? We’re on 5am-1pm shifts in London for the Tests; I imagine it’ll be just as bad for you. An 11pm start?
