I’m going to do something I promised myself I wouldn’t, That is mention reverse swing. Having said that, could it be McGrath was altering his delivery in order to conjure up the mystical movement that has everyone talking? It won’t be that dramatic though. Most likely something pedestrian like….. bent to tie his shoe and there went the elbow.
Glenn McGrath injured. Again.

Just heard that Glenn McGrath has a dodgy elbow; tried to break it on Cricinfo, and my editor beat me to it by two minutes! Doesn’t yet sound serious, although ’tis serious enough to require a scan. In a way, I hope he’s not injured as it rather contradicts a paragraph I wrote today for my Ashes Special piece on Cricinfo…(which is far more important than anything else, of course)

Just part of mind games to get the Pom’s thinking about something else. I hope.

Meanwhile, in the “hark at pot” department, Shane Warne advises the groundsman (note to Cricinfo – we don’t have curators in England) “He should keep his mouth quiet, that’s what he should do.”
