It reminds me of an old photo. I can’t remember where I saw it though. Up on a wall there was placards showing the state of some ongoing game. The picture I am reminded of was before television was introduced.

Well us australian’s got it right 1st didn’t we? Although, AFL is still the most popular sport in most states down here.

Just got back from 10 days in Spain. Thankfully the house I was staying in had Sky so I didn’t miss much of these 2 fantastic matches (although it did mean I got bugger all suntan). It was pretty surreal though when England got the final wicket at Edgbaston to hear a roar going up throughout the whole ‘Spanish’ neigbourhood.
On a lower note, this was my first time visiting a ex-pat area in Spain and I felt almost permanently embarrassed to be British. How the Spaniards put up with us I do not know.
