Here’s a photo of the 2007 World Cup stadium, the Guyana Providence Stadium. It’ll be fascinating to track the progress of its development. More at their Flickr stream.

Hi there, glad to see you are making use of the Guyana Stadium photos. Keep up the good work, this has never been done in Guyana before where someone has put a microscope on a major infrastructure project. Hopefully it will keep everybody involved on their toes and we will end up with a quality product.

I have also created a Blog to compliment the website.

Feel free to use any info you wish.

Guyana is one of the most beautiful country in the caribbean, with the world’s most friendly people. As a proud Guyanese ,It my hope that we will showcase this. Our vistors should leave with lots of praises.

I am a Guyanese living in US. I think if the price was a little lower alot of Guyanese that are living in Guyana currently would have attend to see the cricket.
