I notice that in his Times column Shane Warne is promising us a new hairstyle for the First Test… didn’t he used to promise us a new mystery ball at this stage of an Ashes year?

Bangladesh in Disguise?

Amusing headline in Daily Mail this morning following England’s win against Australia yesterday. Also interesting to compare the tabloid and broadsheet’s views of the match, and its significance (or lack thereof…). Hope weather improves for today’s game, murky, muggy, cloudy and i’m late.

Too true, and I remember the fear it seemed to instil into English batsmen and fans alike. It was all talk though - he’s not quite as dangerous as he once was, but great players are great players…
I didn’t know he had a Times column, shall look out for it.
