A pity he cant say what he really feels. It would be good to spend a few hours with him having a beer and hearing what they really think. Umpires get the best views of anyone, love the game and know it inside and out, so its surprising that the views of former umpires are not more widely canvassed.

Hope you are keeping well, Steve Dunne and his wife Larraine have been staying with Carole & I and in the event of your fellow country man Daryl Hair Steve and I had plenty to talk about. We both came to sAme conculsion that poor Daryl Hair has been well and truly stiched up by his management team and the whole of the ICC. I can see how the whole thing has started by a personal phone call for a chat and some support, plus some personal emails to his mangaement team, for them to end up transcriped in every national newspaper throughout the UK is disgusting. Just our thoughts my old mate from two old umpires who have been there done that and got the tee shirts . Keep up the good work Daryl but rememember mate when the muck & bullits start flying you are on your own.
