China to participate in 2014 World Cup?
By Will 4 years ago, mid-January Leave a comment on this post
According to Richie Benaud, China has been talking confidently of participating (not winning) in the 2014 World Cup. Furthermore, a spokesman “high up” said (words to the effect of) “If China says we’ll do something, we’ll do it.” Which is exciting. Imagine - in 50 years, they could rule the cricketing world. With a population of 1.2 billion (and rising?), who could argue otherwise!
