England back on top

South Africa are 139-9 (effectively) and Jones has blown them away with 4-16. Some excellent catching (c&b from Hoggard, good slip from Trescothick and an outstanding outfield diving catch from Jones) and straight bowling has flummoxed South Africa. England still look way, way short of form and should win this comfortably in the end.
And that’s the end, a brilliant run-out from Thorpe at wide 3rd man off a no-ball - out by a country mile. Jennings will blow a gasket! So England need just 143 to win.
